Cargo Handover to Airline

We take your cargo to the airport cargo terminal and see it accepted for its flight.

What it is

Cargo Handover to Airline, in plain terms

Handover is the point where cargo passes from us to the airline or its ground handler. At acceptance the cargo is checked against the air waybill, weighed, measured and security screened. If something does not match, the cargo can be held back.

Having someone present who knows the shipment means questions get answered on the spot instead of costing you a flight.

When you need it

On every export shipment. Cargo has to be accepted before the airline's cut-off time for that flight.

What we do

How we handle it

  1. Transport the cargo to the cargo terminal

  2. Present the cargo and its documents for acceptance

  3. Deal with any queries raised at acceptance

  4. Confirm to you once the airline has accepted it

Questions

Common questions

What is a cut-off time?

It is the latest time an airline will accept cargo for a particular flight. It varies by airline, flight and type of goods. We give you a delivery deadline for your cargo when we confirm the booking.

What happens if cargo misses the cut-off?

It normally moves to the next available flight. We tell you the options and any cost before anything is changed.
